It reminded me about the BtVS movie re-imaging or re-boot?

I haven't heard much about it since 2013?

I am surprised the movie or even a TV series hasn't been fast tracked.

there was talk of an animated series about 10 years ago i think. i remember reading about it in Wizard or Comic Buyers Guide.

Probably any kind of movie you can think of, in regards to every IP you can think of, is in pre-production in hollywood. Whether or not it goes in to production is another story.

They keep meaning to reboot the original movie with a new cast and storyline just basically keeping Buffy as a slayer.

I wouldn't mind, the animated series looked like it might have been fun for a short while. The comics went full retard very early on and ruined any post-series storyline they could have had.

So much like Stargate I'd love to see a well done all out reboot.

The reboot film got halted/cancelled/went into developmental hell. Whit Anderson was hired to write the script but ultimately there was nothing there. This is pretty much dead.

I love those fan made titles and the animation style is something that I would probably watch.

Buffy was perfect the way it was. I can't imagine a show without Whedon either. I wouldn't be interested.
