I hope this means John Ottman will return as well. His score for X2 was just fantastic.
I am somewhat partial to John Powell's soundtrack for X3, Ottman's work is good too. However, I, also, kind of like how each film had a different composer. I hope that is continued or if Ottman does return (as he scores many of Singer's films, it seems), I hope he gives the film a completely different score.

I like continuity in my movie scores, especially in my movie franchise scores. I was disappointed when Ottman did not return for X3. However, I love John Powell. He's one of my favorite composers, and he did a great job on that film.

Oh, I agree...however the different scores somehow works for the X-Men films. I cannot explain it.
Oh really!?It's possible Wanda and Pietro are considered part of the Avengers franchise for movie purposes.
I didn't know that?
Ok, cool.

Here's hoping.Does that can the rumored premise of the Magneto movie? Also, the film will chronicle Xavier and Magneto's first meeting as well as the creation of Xavier's school.
The article, quoted from The Hollywood Reporter, indicates that 20th Century Fox is trying to connect all of the "origin" films together. Cyclops and Emma Frost, who were introduced in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, were introduced for a reason. They will have roles in X-Men: First Class. Also, the film will chronicle Xavier and Magneto's first meeting as well as the creation of Xavier's school.
In-jokes aren't the same thing as real named-character appeareancse.Wanda and Pietro were also shown on a computer screen in x2.
After seeing the hodge podge that became X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I'm not sure I'd sit thru a Magneto Origins film. The article still mentioned that 20th Century Fox is still developing solo Magneto and Deadpool movies, including a sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It's possible now that Fox will wait until X-Men: First Class and then spin-off Magneto his own movie, starring whichever actor stars in Singer's movie, providing he doesn't go with Ian McKellen. However, I find that unlikely. Fox wants a franchise out of First Class, so I think any Magneto origin movie will wait until Fox finishes X-Men: Third Class.
