News Bryan Adams may join cast in Season 2

I didn’t know Bryan Adams was an actor. I love his “everything I do (I do it for you)” song though.
He's going to play Bryan Adams. The next party has an 80's theme.
He'll be a time traveller from a dozen years in the future, and will regale them with stories of the Summer of (22)69.
Hopefully it won't be "Turnabout Intruder".
Maybe they'll finally implement the plan from Enterprise to have a guest band every week.

Depending on STD contracted, that summer might be remembered for a very long time, especially as the strains become resistant to medicine... 
But in seriousness, it is fun when some musicians cross over into acting to sell a visual image instead of just an auditory one. Mick Fleetwood being one of the better ones because the viewer is left guessing where he's at, or if he's a cameo, or not until the end, or - whoops - he's covered in blue fish gill makeup all this time and nobody knew. Subverting the trope makes their appearances that much more memorable in the long run.

That was clearly the actors trying to be nice after being taken by surprise by Adams' weird claim, not a serious statement.

It would be really fucking cool if he was playing a character related to some mission to Vulcan, and Carol Decker played T'Pau.
(The band T'Pau opened for Bryan Adams during one of their 80s concert tours. And Carol *does* have the acting chops to pull it off, I think.

That would give it a little bit of heart and soul.
I think you can put that story down to Isaacs, Green and Adams just attempting to make amiable chit chat with each
other on The One Show. I doubt he'd even heard of Discovery before he sat on a sofa with them.
