Do you think the people at BringBackKirk.com will be happy with this new film? They've been shouting out to bring back Kirk since the late-90's, I believe. Would they accept a new actor playing Kirk?

I was thinking the same thing is possible...that they would heavily imply the the timeline was altered so that when Spock returns to the 24th century and at the very end of the film (maybe even in a scene after the ending credits, a practice which is so "in" these day) we see a shadow in Spocks apartment and hear Shatner's voice saying "where were you" or something like that -- then cut to black; film over.

Having done no research on the matter, my gut tells me that won't be good enough.
