Some now believe it was all an elaborate publicity stunt, and the whole family was in on the joke. Well, it was certainly compelling as far as balloon chases go...

Hiding in the attic? All these hours? What's going on here? If my kid was missing in a situation like this I would have torn my house upside down. Does anyone know where the parents were this whole time? If this was some kind of a stunt, I hope they enjoy paying for the search and rescue.

Right now I can't help feeling suspicious if the kid was in the house the whole time. I smell 15 minutes of YouTube fame and fortune in the days ahead...

If it's a hoax... how long can we put them in jail for? Seriously? Can we claim that they launched their UFO in an attempt to have it sucked in by an airliner? A few hundred counts of attempted murder? That sounds like justice to me.
