BOTTOM!

Chose the worst of the worst!

What to say, what to say. It's all been said before. "These are the Voyages" is television's largest floating turd. It made caveman look good. We've gone over all the reasons why it sucked and I still think it sucked by intention to piss us off.

I thought Extinction was excruciating. I felt bad for everyone in it. Trek has used this "crew evolves into weird aliens" plot several times over, and each iteration has been lousy, so why inflict it on us yet again?

I voted Precious Cargo, but I was surprised that Harbinger wasn't on the list!
The list consists of 10 most frequently selected episodes from the "give us your bottom five" thread. Harbinger got picked only once, by Commodore64 IIRC.

And a little reminder (since people evidently still fail to notice):

MULTIPLE CHOICE!!!! :techman:

In colloquial American English, "multiple choice" typically means "Select one from the following choices."

For this poll, something like "You may pick more than one choice," or "Pick as many choices as you like" might be clearer.

How can anyone aruge, "These are the Voyages" is BY FAR the WORST episode EVER. Not only in Enterprise, or even in the Star Trek world, but EVER. Well ok maybe not all of TV, but close to it.

Some of these episodes are silly, some are boring but what really hits bottom for me is TATV.

Perhaps, but on this board, when you want to allow users to choose more than one option in a poll, you check the box:
Allow multiple choice: Give users the ability to select more than one answer.

BTW, HR, what makes you so reluctant to vote?

Quite so. But that can only be seen in the poll form. What shows up in the poll itself is a list of choices with little round circles or squares beside them, but no specific instructions, unless you provide them. It helps for voters to see "vote for only one", or "vote for however many you want to" in the OP.

I prefer to focus on the positive. :)

TATV = worst episode of Star Trek. Space Hippies and Human Salamaders are better than this shit.

Riker stuffed into that Maco outfit. Ruining that awesome pegasus episode.....ooooof.

It wasn't nearly as bad as some of the total shit produced during the first two seasons of TNG: Code of Honour, Shades of Grey, The Naked Now, Justice, Skin of Evil, Pen Pals, and Where Silence Has Lease... Just to name a few and don't get me started on later eps of TNG or VOY.

I'm not saying I loved TATV, but it doesn't deserve half the shit that gets heaped on it. There are far worse televised Trek than this.

You're right. It doesn't deserve half the shit. It deserves all of it. The only people involved who ever defended it were the two that wrote it. Even Frakes had the class to come out and say, in hindsight, that he shouldn't have done it and that it was a disservice to the cast of Enterprise.

Even Brannon Braga admits the episode didn't deliver. Still wasn't as bad as the eps I listed and , believe me, I can come up with plenty more.

Can we let this rest now?

Why? This is the "BOTTOM!" thread after all.
