So, this poll is a natural continuation of Middleman's "Give Us Your Bottom Five."

10 most frequently selected bad episodes have made it into this poll, and its multiple choice, as always.

Time to throw mud!

([edit] And somehow I managed to make a typo in a poll title :D)

Awww and I quite liked Marauders... in a "I love it when a plan comes together" sort of way.

To me, only Precious Cargo and that TNG comeback tour deserve their place on the list. Yes, even Extinction had at least one moment I liked... namely Archer's dream where sees his non-mutated self, wakes up and describes seeing his "home" and his "people".

Hate to admit it, but the starships Enterprise montage edges TATV away from the absolute bottom of the barrel. So Princess Fishsticks it is...

I chose This Ain't The Valentine.

As bad as the others are, none stoops to the level of the worst "finale" ever.

The steaming pile, screw you to the fans, that TATV is, is by far is the worst Ep of not just Enterprise, but probably of all Star Trek.

A Night in Sickbay was nominated for a Hugo award, wasn't it?
And "Titanic" actually won "Best Picture," so what of it?

Nothing, I just find the discrepancy in reactions odd. I, though, haven't seen the episode.

Yeah, but it still sucked. Exactly 25 other episodes of Season 2 were more deserving of winning the Hugo.

Anyway, I voted for "A Night in Sickbay" and "These Are the Voyages..."

ANIS. Not just the worst Star Trek, it's one of the worst things in the history of things.

Even though I voted for TATV, I hate Extinction almost as bad.

TATV felt like all of TPTB simply gave us fans the finger and laughed at us for watching it.

To me, Extinction was the most painfully ludicrously stupid episode of the series. I just saw it again last week while re-watching the seasons, and it was even WORSE than I had remembered.

Later this week, when I get to the final disc of Season 4, I'll have to seriously consider whether I want to put myself through the experience of TATV again...

These are the Voyagers....

Wins hands down for me. It was a holodeck episode set in the TNG. No Enterprise series crew at all. It killed almost everything I liked about Enterprise for no good reason.

None of them rose to the level of the bile most "fans" of the show seem to constantly shower us with.

ANIS for me. Though it was close with Extinction. That was the one with the people living in the caves wasn't it? Geez, that was so bad, it stopped me watching the first time it screened here and everytime I see it coming on repeats, it puts me off watching the rest of the season *again*.

Still haven't seen TaTV. :)

ETA: I think the awful one I was thinking of was Terra Nova in fact. Arrghhhh, soooo terrible. :(

It's a tie between Maurauders and Precious Cargo, what a waste of a second season. At least ANIS is entertaining, in a stupid way.

TATV gets my vote because everybody is wildly out of character and there are too many plot holes for the story to make sense, even if you're drunk.

But if I use this very sensible criterion:
To me, only Precious Cargo and that TNG comeback tour deserve their place on the list. Yes, even Extinction had at least one moment I liked... namely Archer's dream where sees his non-mutated self, wakes up and describes seeing his "home" and his "people".

I'd have to go with Marauders (reaching the opposite conclusion from ChrisP) because I cannot think of a single scene I would stop and watch in that episode. I realized in that "special moments" thread we had going that every other ep on the list has at least one: the "tribunal" in Precious Cargo, the "What the hell do we do with these people" debate in Terra Nova, the "We think you may indeed be crazy, Captain" conversation in Rogue Planet, Porthos' surgery in ANIS (actually I like that episode as a whole), the pre-speech scene and montage in TATV. But Marauders, I can't think of even one.

Doh. I didn't realize until too late that I could have voted for two. Sorry. TATV and Marauders.
