I liked The Practice over Boston Legal, if for no other reason than the defense attorneys lost the occasional case. On BL, Crane, Poole & Schmidt never lost.

the Practice was great the first 5ish seasons and then I stopped watching, seasons 7 & 8 suck. The last episode was a joke.

I liked both The Practice and Boston Legal, but I prefer The Practice as a drama about the law and for the characters, whom I thought were far more multifaceted than Boston Legal. It was far less pretty a show, but Boston Legal was a much better comedy than Ally McBeal. But since my wife likes it, I like it too The first 4 seasons are my favorites for the ensemble but after that the show was fun for Alan and Denny but struggled to keep me interested in the rest of the cast.

If ya bought the first season of Boston Legal from Best Buy when it first came out, they had a store exclusive bonus of the final four episodes of The Practice, which kind of sucked, since it wasn't all six usin' Crane, Poole & Schmidt.

Aye, it's a damn shame that the final season of The Practice ain't on dvd, or even Watch Instantly. I would Netflix that shit in a heartbeat, dog.

The cast is almost the same in season 4 as season 5 but they got rid of the annoying characters and the awesome cross dresser.

However season 5 had a cast besides Alan and Denny? Never noticed.

Just be happy there was a season 5, David E. Kelly blackmailed ABC into giving him one, and as soon as the show finished he BASHED the network into the ground. He is awesome.

I absolutely loved BL and miss it horribly.

I've been trying to give Harry's Law a chance, being done by some of the same folks, but it just doesn't have the chemistry that BL had and is boat-load's more preachy. It's quickly starting to lose my interest.

Voice work is easy money.

Plus rarely did any good Star Trek people, besides Odo, ever show up on BL.
