Borg Wish List

I know among Star Trek fans there are varying opinions on what the good and bad aspects of The Borg are (story wise) but I'm wondering if you could see in a movie or episode what one thing you would like to see of The Borg. For me it would be seeing a Borg cube scoop entire cities off a planet.

Frankly, I'm surprised with all The Borg episodes VOY did we never saw this element that was only talked about in "The Neutral Zone" and "Q Who?"

I'd like to see the origin of the Borg told from the perspective of the only person who was able to escape assimilation a long time after the fact. I'd like to see the Borg just completely decimate species, after species, fleet after fleet, as they spread like a cancer without the one thing that can seem to stop them (the Federation) as a major plot point. Obviously, this will never happen, but it'd make my Borg "wishlist" as it were, if I could just have anything I wanted. Essentially, I'd like to see the Borg snatched from Voyager, and portrayed as the threat they might have been otherwise.

That said, I would prefer that the Borg queen didn't exist, and that they'd only assimilate adults and kill the kids, because the VOY children really take the menace out of the Borg. What was left of it by the time Seven rediscovered her humanity and we found out that it's possible to redeem a Borg drone, that is.

I wish they'd just never been invented. Really, just an all around waste of screen time ... Well Q Who wasn't too bad.

I think The Borg thing needs a good, long rest, although I secretly dig anything that presents them as zombies (First Contact) seemed to do this most of all.

Something with TOS and Borgs would be sort-of cool, too, I suppose.

I'd like to see some differences of opinion regarding the Borg. Maybe small communes emulating the Borg, or entire societies petitioning the Borg to come assimilate them.
