I agree. I really loved the movie, so that makes more excited about novels being relased. I just was hoping they would realase them sooner than they are. But Im sure it will be worth the wait. I know one thing for sure, I'm gonna buy everyone of those books! I hope they contune make novels based off the movie. I like it to see it contune like they are with all the shows based novels. After all this is new timeline, so I like to see where its gonna go.

^Well, the books won't show where the new timeline is going to go, since that's for the movies to decide. All the books can do is tell stories that, while hopefully entertaining, don't advance or alter the status quo in any substantial way.

You're comparing Keenser to Jar Jar? I don't see where he did enough in the movie to get that strong of a reaction. I'm overly attached to him, I just thought he was a cool looking alien who had a couple funny scenes. I was mainly asking just because they showed him on the Big E at the end, and I was afraid the books were going to ignore that since he wasn't really developed in the movie.

I love that scene where Kirk and Scotty have just beamed out of the complex and the camera zooms in on Keenser who is obviously very sad to see Scotty go, he gives that little *snif*... poor little guy. Nice to see that Keenser is on the Enterprise at the end though!

I don't think I noticed the alien sounding line when I watched it last Tuesday, but you were right about him saying one word. He said me when Scotty asked if there was a more hard working, hungry Starfleet officer.

What I like about Greg's book is that it seems to be addressing the major issue of Spock Prime's knowledge of future events and how it effects the time he's in, something I've actually started a discussion thread on in the Star Trek XI forum.

It's right after Spock shuts the door and they look down the hallway. You hear a voice shout something, then Keenser appears and runs towards them.
