More, please. :)

What's that you say? More? :D

The simple fact that this nearly sombreoless knockoff doesn't have everyone wearing a sombrero insults the original sombreroful legacy of TOS (The Original Sombrero).

Other than that, bully!

Thank you!

Carpe, I enjoyed your video! Though M'Sharak's comments have merit, I think I understand what your objective was. The longer length did allow you to include some hilarious imagery (the 3-shot of Kirk, sombrero-Bele, and sombrero-Lokai during the self-destruct countdown was a favorite for me) and fun parody lines. The punchline approach, a la "Star Trek: The Sombrero," can be a scream, but it's a whole 'nother animal than the "episode" feel you have here.

It was a lot of work, lovingly put together, and I respect the hell out of that. (You wouldn't believe how long it took me just to get a colorful little hat on a dog for an avatar. ) And it made me laugh. That makes it a good addition to this nutty masterpiece of a thread. :)

Marvelous!

I kept going over it and over it, picking out little details (I'm still wondering about a possible joke in the lyrics.)

A tiny evil thought: having one of the Borg drones say to the other, as they're walking in, "Hey, isn't that Brannon Braga?" But that would probably be going too far.

Squiggy: But does everyone actually own an evening-formal sombrero?

You people kill me....

I'm laffin' my AsS-ombrero off here!!!

:lol::guffaw::guffaw::rommie::guffaw::guffaw::lol:

KODUS TO ALL YOUR WONDERFUL IMAGINATION'S AND HARD WORK!!

Continuously genius work, all around!:guffaw::lol:

Just a heads up. I'm getting ready to head off to the Comic-Con in a day or so. And I will indeed be wearing a sombrero! So stop me and say "hola". If you see more than one guy at Comic-Con wearing a sombrero, I will be the most handsome guy. (That's the easiest way to keep track.) The others will be Cogley's Little Helpers. Accept no substitutes!

Also, if I have access to J.J Abrams (at any of the panels), I promise to ask him if he plans to include a sombrero in Star Trek XI and, also, what he thinks about the Star Trek / Sombrero phenomenon that is sweeping the internet.

I will then attempt to blog about said attempt from the nearest psychiatric facility, which is where I will probably end up.

Oh, pshaaww. Picard is too stuffy for sombreros, as we all know. :p

Only in that I Googled for "Spanish song lyrics" and came up with some Mexican birthday song that had something to do with sunlight--I figured it had a nice parity with the original song about moonlight.

My thoughts exactly. Really!

Good luck! I'd love to join you, but as timing would have it, after I finally got my trip to LA scheduled a couple days ago, I checked and found out Comic-Con had sold out just the day before. Ah well. We'll look forward to hearing about JJ's reaction. :D

Ahhh, if you get to Abrams and ask him that you will officially be my hero.;)

If it can be done, it will be done! :techman:

And why am I not already your hero? :p

Oh my....74 pages and several evenings spent laughing uproariously!

Thanks to all the photoshop experts, animated gif makers, movie experts, etc etc etc, you are all truly talented, creative, and just a little demented.

<---And yes, to your bandwagon, welcome!

(If the nacelles have to be blue, then on the insides only.)
