From a Klingon point of view Jadzia not only did nothing wrong but did the honourable thing. And I always thought Jadzia had a Klingon heart so I think she did the right thing.

She does have a Klingon heart in her but all in all Trills go through extensive training before being joined. She was not under that oath. That was a previous host.

I think that in general oaths taken by joined Trills are not binding on subsequent hosts, but in some cases they have to be. A joined Trill could never be given access to classified information, nor entrusted with any secret, if the oath not to disclose the information were not considered binding on subsequent hosts who inherit the knowledge. Are there any other situations in which oaths might be considered binding on subsequent hosts?

No, I don't think it was worth it. From the Klingon perspective, what Jadzia did was admirable and honorable. Like the OP, I enjoyed much of the episode until I started thinking about it at the end. She seriously violated Starfleet's ethics, w/ no consequences. That really bothered me.

I mean in reality did anything happen to Worf after he killed Duras? IIRC didn't 'just' a reprimand appear on his record.

Exactly. This is the problem I have with the episode. There were no consequences for her actions.
