Blindspot Season 1 Thread

I'm still watching. I just haven't posted because I figured nobody else was. But last night was great cause something serious finally happened. Mayfair is down, and the team is about to split up hard.

So what's the deal with Jane/Taylor? Since she has the same bar code as the clinic there might be something connected there, but assuming that babies grow at a normal rate, she couldn't be a clone. The DNA they had on file for Taylor could've been switched to match Jane. You could go the soap opera route and make her a long lost twin.

Or she can be Taylor and Taylor can also be dead because... Blindspot is the new Fringe.

Oh, God not Fringe again!!

The most likely explanation is the DNA switch. With all the mission prep that went into the op that Jane can't remember that makes the most sense.

They should pull a left turn into sci fi territory like Person of Interest. It's the only way to explain how they know so much stuff ahead of time. Time travel, remote viewing, something out there.

The science fiction element of Person of Interest was always there from the beginning; the show just didn't really begin embracing the exploration of its ramifications until the end of season 2. I've always suspected Blindspot was the same kind of "stealth" genre show that has an SF idea built into it from the start but only gradually eases into it so as not to scare off the Muggles.

Well that was a nice "lay out the conspiracy" ending. It looks like it really was The Blacklist with a hot chick, given that it looks like some group was using the FBI to take out its enemies. Lots of revelations all around.

They really put a lot out there. Jane's real identity is still unknown, good. There is the mysterious Shepard person. Probably gonna be a lot of drama with how they all trusted Jane and she was "using" them, was around when Mayfair got killed. Fun times ahead. There was the 3 files, Daylight, Orion and a 3rd one which was numbers and letters, guess they are saving opening that until S2.

Time Travel. I don't see any other explanation.

I'm only watching to see if this is the case. Thought we'd get something in the finale but we didn't.

Yeah, we didn't get too much with that ending except for some dude in a glowing light. How is that supposed to help us.

I guess the real question is will be ever find out Patterson's first name?

Speaking of Patterson, kudos to Ashley Johnson for landing her own car commercials...
