Black Widow anticipation thread

Last I checked, it's still a bit of a question as to whether or not one can still be a carrier once immune. Personally I'll be erring on the side of caution until either there's some definitive data or a much larger percentage of the population is inoculated.
Yeah, it all still seems very iffy for the time being.

Not that it matters for me. I'm far from priority. I probably won't be able to get the vaccine until this summer some time.

It will get delayed again, unless they will put it on Disney+.
(Would have been a good combo with Falcon & the Winter Soldier / Cap: Winter Soldier movie)

Most countries have drastic covic case increases (3rd wave), not even the high risk people are fully vaccinated, let alone the general population, stay at home or public events/entertainment closed orders.

I personally think they'll go forward as long as California and New York are open, but I'd imagine we'd know soon.

Stupid Disney+ Premium. That costs three times as much as I would for a movie ticket on the big screen. Greedy fucks are taking advantage of people who want to stay safe.

It's irrelevant now that I will be choosing to watch it at home, but of course I would have been wearing a double mask and gloves while in the theater

What would be a better solution?
I live in a house of 4. We're getting a HUGE discount on that movie at this price and I can't wait.
They have to find a happy medium between large families and a single viewer. It's a tough line to balance but you can't say you don't get it. The technology doesn't exist to track number of eyes viewing a television set yet to make it fair for everyone.

I don't disagree, but at the same time; just a little bit of patience and it'll be on the regular sub like everything else.

Get your butts to the theaters! The economy needs you.
Nope, fuck the economy. My health is not worth the economy.

Yeah, I get that, definitely. But it's still frustrating for someone like myself.

Yeah and for most films, I'll be patient and wait the extra time, like Raya and the Last Dragon (hell, I still haven't gotten around to watching Mulan), but something like Black Widow is still event viewing and will be increasingly hard to avoid spoilers for.

At the end of the day, I'll probably shell out the $30 for Black Widow but I won't be happy about it (the expenditure, that is).

But at that point, if you're going to spend the money, you might as well just get it on Disney+.
I'm not sure yet if I'll fork out the extra money for it. I haven't for Mulan or Raya, but this is the kind of movie that will have spoilers everywhere as soon as it's out, and I'm not sure if I really want to spend months trying to avoid them.

My thoughts exactly, though since I'll be vaccinated I see no reason not to go to the theater to see it, I totally would have shelled out $30 last month.

By July it might be safe for me to brave a theatre anyway. Granted I live somewhere which has its shit in the sock as far as the pandemic goes, and if this summer is anything like last summer, there will be a lull in the pandemic anyway meaning it should be possible to live something similar to the Before Times. I know I saw Tenet in theatres last summer with no negative effects.

I'm definitely against paying the premium on Disney+ to see this. Thirty dollars for a movie on a streaming service is out of the question for me. I'd spend less money going to the theatre, and that includes stopping by a restaurant afterwards. It's for a similar reason I still haven't seen Wonder Woman 84.

I have Disney+.......just waited it out and watched Mulan when it became available.

Honestly I'm not worried about spoilers on this one. I mean I'll avoid reviews and spoiler threads and the like, but I'm not anticipating any massive, impossible to avoid revelations. Mostly just expecting an action movie and maybe a hand-off to the next Black Widow.

Would you have gone to the theater alone.

What I plan to do is share the cost with friends.
The ones I cannot have over physically, I can just share my screen with online.
D+ has this feature in inbuilt , but other screensharing solutions also exist.
