Black Widow anticipation thread

I rarely spend even $20 on myself when I go to the movies. Asking me to pay $30 to watch it at home is kind of a tough sell.

I'll be at the theater opening weekend for a matinee. I've gotten both vax doses, and figure the commoners in the area will be getting vaccinated by then, so I'm not too concerned.

I would see it in the theater twice possibly three times anyway. Also, I'm thinking that a viewing party might be a great way to reconnect with all my friends after the last year of isolation.

My thoughts exactly, though since I'll be vaccinated I see no reason not to go to the theater to see it, I totally would have shelled out $30 last month.

Well, vaccines are dependent on herd immunity--you can still get sick until enough people are vaccinated to eliminate the disease in the general population. You could also have the disease even though your are vaccinated (still unknown at this point) and potential transmit it to others.

What I plan to do is share the cost with friends.
The ones I cannot have over physically, I can just share my screen with online.
D+ has this feature in inbuilt , but other screensharing solutions also exist.

Is that what a watch party is? You can share it with other subscribers even if they have not paid for the movie?

Actually, yeah. I see all my movies in theatres these days on my own. I think the last time I went to the theatre with anyone was 2008.
