Does anyone else thinkthe equations the Doctor's constantly scribbling (first on Vastra's floor and then the chalkboard in the console room) are going to wind up being important down the road? Equations to freeing Gallifrey perhaps?
For me the interesting thing so far about the leaked episodes - is that the Doctor's character is..
is more grumpy than dark as been teased - he might get darker later but so far there isn't any evidence of it

Yes, more groucyh Uncle than dark and brooding Time Lord.
In fact having seen three episodes now the much vaunted changes are more in theory than practice.

Agreed. Episode 3 is funny as hell.

I saw 3 yesterday, pretty good repor with Robin and the Doctor.
Judging these working prints is like giving a grade based on a rough draft!
To be fair we are only judging the actors presentations of there characters which wont really change in the final version besides some timing adjustments here and there. That's all I'm looking for while there, everything else will have to be judged in the finished versions.

If you're talking about the credits, music and finished effects. The scripts and performances are exactly the same as what will be transmitted, since these were designed for use in creating translations of the episodes.
I liked the three episodes, but its not like they're going to be tremendously different when they're complete. If someone didn't like the story from what they see in the B&W cuts, they aren't going to like it when they're complete. I'm sure they'll be improved, but from a story/acting perspective its not like someone who thinks the stories/performances are weak is going to get their mind changed by color and complete music/special effects, unless some of the actors are getting completely redubbed by someone else in the final product![]()

No, you're perception of the performances can change. Music and special effects have less than zero effect on my opinion of a story or the performances of the story.![]()
ADR could still happen. Sound mixing could still be happening. Final editing could still be happening. AND, yes, the final score.
