Bill Blackburn's TOS Home Movies

Spock's Barber

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Bill Blackburn was a frequent background extra on TOS. During the series he shot 8mm film of various behind the scenes activities during several TOS episode productions. He promised in the past to release this footage after securing a deal for its marketing rights. Anyone know what the outcome was?

I presume that you have seen the clips on the TOS Blu-ray sets?

I would love to see more.

Thanks for that, Tel! As someone who hasn't bought the Blu-Rays this is quite interesting and very funny!

All three blue-ray discs have a 15-20 min segment (I have not watched them in a while so I'm guess on the time) on the BB home-movies. Those film reels were only about 2 mins long so I'm not sure how much more there is. It's not like he had a video tape and could record for hours. Back then you had to be real careful when filming because you has such a sort amount of film / time. I'm sure we have seem the best of what he filmed and it would not surprise me if there was not much more.
