News Bill and Ted Face the Music Officially Announced

I just finished watching "Bogus Journey" and yeah in the end-credits magazine/newspaper headlines it says Missy was set to marry De Nomolos, but I'm guessing everything suggested by those newspapers have been "retconned" out of the story since the premise of this movie seems to suggest that after the Battle of the Bands performance not a whole lot more happened. Certainly not world tours, ending conflict in the Middle East, crops up and ending smog with air guitar.

Bogus Journey is just an... awkward watch. For me it's not quite as good as the original. props I suppose for not just doing another time-travel adventure and copying from the first movie but there's just elements in this one that don't work. Mostly, for me, some of the humor bits. Though the afterlife sequences are well done and Grim Reaper is a fun character.
Honestly, I've always preferred Bogus Journey. Way better soundtrack...

It wasn't as good as the first, true, but it had a lot going for it. Vasquez Rocks, the Evil Robot Usses, Death, STATION!!!, De Nomolos's true identity, etc. Although for me, the newspaper montage was one of the highlights, so I'm disappointed to see that decanonized.

It does have a lot going for it, with all of those points you put out. But there's still much to it that is rough.

Nah, I prefer the sound track in the first one, it's more the kind of music from that era I can stand and I'm not into the genre of music Bill an Ted is based around. I mean there's just some kind of cool and "catchy" about the opening song when the CGI cone-thing is descending in the opening credits.

In part 2 we get the kind of music from that era that I can't really stand but when it comes to popular music in the '90s, well the stuff in the later years got to me so bad it drove me to Country.

But it's like Bill and Ted start playing their song at the end and I'm just like... "This is the song that saves the world?" Now it makes sense we have a sequel. ;)

Evil Robot Bill said "Catch you later, future wife!" when he gassed her.

Yeah, but that was Evil Robot Bill, he more likely was taking the piss or had some sinister plans with her to further ruin the lives of B&T. After all the joke earlier with one of the princesses (Elizabeth, I think) was that Missy would marry Ted next. But there's nothing in the movies that "seriously" suggests Bill or Ted were going to marry Missy next considering their hook up was with the princesses. Missy goes on to marry De Nomolos... Maybe. Depends on what happens to canonicty of the newspaper/magazines over the end credits.

So, I have a question on the first movie. I'm guessing the report BT have to do is the "big report" they have to do as Seniors, I had to do something similar. But was the report to be presented on a Saturday?

When they arrive back at the, correct, present Missy expects Bill to do chores before she'll rake him to the mall instead of wondering why he's not at school, the mall is packed with people of various ages, the waterpark is packed with school-aged kids, Decan was out late on a date the night before it all seems like it's a Saturday!

But the seniors are all at school giving reports? And, arguably, BT's report shouldn't count since they weren't there all day and never checked in so it'd be an abscence, even if an excused one if Missy covered for them.

It's been a while but wasn't it some kind of special assembly where they delivered it? Maybe like when band has a concert, or the drama class stages a production or the like it was a special presentation?

Yeah, it was an assembly. I guess it was just a special thing, but usually that's for extra curricular stuff, not things your grade and ability to graduate ate dependent on.

I think we all want to know... Who is Missy married to now?
You mean, before she regenerated?

Slow night.... don't mind me.

But this talk of Missy does remind me of the time when the 12th Doctor used Bill & Ted time travel rules to save the day, right down to the electric guitar music at the end.

And it will be pushed again. They should just Do what Universal Did and push it back a year
