Biggest Plot Hole?

Either way, IMO, it's silly to assume that there is one single defining moment that completely changes a person's entire personality and track in life.

Oh I completely disagree about that - just because we don't all have them does not mean no-one does. A short sharp shock to the system can completely change the track of your life.

Sometimes there are moments that do change the direction of our lives - not necessarily even huge things but things that stick in our minds and inform our future choices.

The final point of the episode is one of the most valid ever made in Trek - that if you pull on one string the Tapestry of your life might fall apart.

The simple fact is ALL our experiences, good and bad, all our triumphs and all our mistakes make up who we are. If you go back and change one mistake you might make things better - but it is also possible in learning from that mistake you made much better decisions on more important things later.

Not really a plot hole, it seemed like more of a gaff. Voyager ep when Paris reached warp 10 and went all weird but in All good things they went up to warp 13 no problems. Been a while since i've seen the Voyager ep though so maybe i got it wrong.

I think that was explained as another recalibration of the warp scale, just like how the TNG warp scale is different from the TOS scale.

I thought Q had told Picard that nothing he did in the past would affect the present of the people he knew, thus why Troi and Riker were on the same ship, etc. etc. or was that AGT?

Blueicus is right about "Tapestry", before Picard would agree to Q's game Q had to assure him that only Picard's life would be affected by the changes.

I agree with the others in that Riker's reaction was perfectly justified.
