Big Finish short story competition

For writers or budding writers out there Big Finish have a new short story competition closing date is the end of June but they only need a synopsis and the first 500 words.

I'll definitely be entering assuming I can come up with a decent idea. Wonder if I can break the habit of a lifetime and write a classic Doctor other than Five?

Is the contest open to international writers? The rules don't seem to specify against it, but I'm worried that might be implied.

I guess you could email them? They seem to have updated the rules page a couple of times to clarify things after getting emails.

My story-writing skills have gotten a little rusty after having been dormant for the last several years, but I'd definitely love to give this a go!
