Big Finish get River Song (and lots more!)

Looking over the cast list, we have both Dan Starkey and Catrin Stewart (playing different roles, of course). Which means Big Finish now has access to two thirds of the Paternoster Gang. Granted, Starkey has already done plenty of work for BF, but I think this is the first time Stewart has, is it not?
To be fair, even as I was writing it I was remembering that Gary Russell was the guy who used to liberally include elements from everything in his novels. I reckon Gary would've included characters from the Sky Ray Ice Lollie wrappers if he thought he could get away with it.
Arguably he did get away with it.
As someone whose first introduction to Benny was Big Bang Generation (I didn't even know Benny had spin-offs): I thought it did a fine job of introducing her and her gang.
Well, most popular speculation has it be the Tennant-Tate announcement thats coming up.

Wishful thinking, some sort of Time War epic with John Hurt and Timothy Dalton.

Basically they can now use anything and anyone up to "The Time of the Doctor", so no 12, no Missy and sadly we won't be getting "The Mathadventures of Danny Pink" either.

So basically, what's referried to as "heritage Who". Makes sense.
Is Clara included in the ban?
IMO, Clara shouldn't be, especially after this series where they're gonna retire the character. However, BF could always introduce new, audio companions for Doctors 9-11. The latter should have loads of them.
Nope, given she was introduced prior to Time of the Doctor. In fact, they can even play with Clara shards and team her up on adventures with the other Doctors if they get tired of doing latter-day Matt Smith adventures waiting for Capaldi's era to end
Titan Comics has created some great new companions that I'd love to see Big Finish cast.
That would be interesting.
Have any of the Big Finish companions made the leap to any of the comics? Aside from the early DWM previews in comic form?
^I think DarthPipes was suggesting the reverse, taking comics companions and using them in Big Finish productions.
I think of BF companions, only Charley was mentioned in of the Tenth Doctor's comic series. I read that somewhere.
