Big Brother USA 11 (Spoilers)

I chose based on a lot of factors...people who I thought would be good game players and some people who I just liked and feel deserve a second chance. I'm sure some of you will think my choices are a bit strange.

Amy (season 3)
Jack (season 4)
Will Wikle (season 5)
Sarah (season 6)
Dick (season 8)
Eric (season 8)
Jessica (season 8)
Sharon (season 9)
Crazy James (season 9)
Angie (season 10)
Renny (season 10)
Memphis (season 10)
Jeff (season 11)

I put in bold the names I'd most like to see out of your list. I'd replace Renny with Sheila (season 9) and Memphis with Michelle (season 10). Also, I can't believe I'm typing this, but I'd actually nominate Ronnie as well.

Think about it: Evel Dick and Ronnie stuck together. That's gold people! :D

I'd actually prefer a Survivor-like "Fans vs Favorites" next season. I think Survivor's version helped separate it from being too similar to the previous All-Stars. Plus part of the fun of a new BB season is watching completely unprepared minds break down. Returning houseguests are a little numb to the effects the second time around. So a new batch mixed with old favorites would be cool with me.

^Yeah, I would like a fans vs. favorites as well, though I wouldn't mind an all All-Stars cast. I like seeing them come back because it is interesting to see how they change their strategies. For instance, I think that someone like Jessica would have a completely different way of playing this time around. Jeff as well, since he wouldn't have Jordan around. And it's always funny to watch those people who make the same mistakes twice!

It was actually a toss up between Renny and Sheila for me...either of them would add a little spice to the cast. And I think I might want to see Ronnie back as well, only because he would be in so over his head with some of these people. People would be on to him right away and so maybe, just maybe, he would change up his strategy the second time around.

I might want to see Russell back as well, to see what he does differently. Especially with Dick in the house, I could see him shying away from the "tough guy" approach and playing a more quietly strategic game.

The nice thing about the second time around is that most people don't take it personally anymore. It's more about logic and strategy and less about making friends and who likes who.

Anyway, back to this season. The veto ceremony was today...Michele used it on herself, shocker. Jordan went up, so either Jeff or Jordan will be going home this week. It will pretty much be Jeff. Though Jordan keeps telling people she wants to go home instead because she thinks that Jeff deserves to be there more.

Michele has been completely confusing me once again...after winning the veto she celebrated with Kevin and Natalie and totally started bashing Jeff and Jordan. And then she goes to Jeff the next day and tells him that she is going to help campaign to keep him. She then went to Kevin and tried to convince him that it would be a good idea to keep Jeff around this week, and that she would definitely be voting to keep Jeff. I just never know what the hell is up with her, or who's side she's really on. I don't think anyone in the game knows either. Does Michele know? I hope so.

I'm also a little surprised by fan reaction lately. In the past couple of weeks people have been jumping off the Jeff and Jordan bandwagon, and a large faction of fans seems to be rooting for Michele now. I've never hated Michele, I wouldn't mind if she won, but Jeff and Jordan are still my favorites. Oh how fickle fans can be.

I stopped cheering for Jeff and Jordan the moment they decided to back door Russell.

It was the stupidest piece of game play and I lost respect for them.

Yeah, as I think about it voting out Russel wasn't bright it's made the "numbers" harder to favor Jeff because he needed another strong player on his side to win this most recent HOH. Hinging his survival or Jordan winning HOH again (this time without his help)? Not bright.

I'd still like to see Jeff win simply from a "he's mostly played the best game" stance as everyone else in the house has pretty much just coasted, floated, and rode their way to this point.

If Jeff leaves, I'd like to see Michelle win as she's hot.

The Russell move, from our point of view on the outside, wasn't a good idea. However, in Jeff's position, I can see what he was thinking. I think he trusted Natalie more than he should have, but at the same time, he has been led to believe the entire game that Russell is a disloyal and untrustworthy person. Michele as well. So much gossip and lies has been exchanged about those two in the past couple of months that no one in the house believes they can trust them. Natalie, on the other hand, in Jeff and Jordan's eyes, never betrayed her alliance and has been loyal to those she made deals with. We know that's not true, but they don't. So to Jeff, he has no reason to trust Russell and some reason to believe that Natalie might be true to her word. If I were him I probably still would have kept Russell, but I can definitely see where Jeff was coming from in his decision, and I don't dislike him for it or think he's really stupid for it. It just wasn't the best decision, but he doesn't have all of the info we do.

^^

Natalie had been attached at the hip to Jessie and then to Chima and then to Lydia. She sat there and bitched out Casey (Jeff's ally) on the way out the door. There was never any real connection between the two before that and suddenly he trusts her more than Russell, who has promised a Final Four deal. Maybe I'm just too trusting...

So for those who have the feeds, is Jeff 100% gone on Thursday or has there been any discussion as they alluded to in tonight's episode?

From what I've seen, Michele and Jeff have been campaigning hard, especially to Natalie. She has been listening intently and always gives the impression that she's considering it. But then she goes to Kevin and says, "they think I'm so stupid, they're the idiots though."

They haven't really shown us enough of their diary room sessions to know what's true. But even if Kevin and Natalie are considering anything, I think they'll still vote out Jeff.

Sounds like Natalie to me.

She's such an idiot. Like on the show last night when she says Michelle isn't as smart as she thinks she is.

Um, Gnat? Michelle has a PhD. PhD means "pretty damn smart."

God I hate her, she just a coasting leach.

I wonder who Kevin will vote for if/when Michelle and Natalie's votes push to a tie on who gets ousted.

Kevin will definitely choose to oust Jeff.

Jeff's not being stupid about it though, he pretty much knows he's a goner.

And Natalie HATES Michele. She is constantly insulting her whenever she leaves the room. That comment on the show about her being stupid wasn't even close to the worst of it. Michele has actually endured a lot of bashing throughout the entire season, both to her face and behind her back. She's not my favorite but I feel bad that everyone's been so mean to her.

Man, I don't want Jeff to go! Ugh, he's who I want to win!

Grrrrrr.

My local CBS afilliate is screwing me (and the rest of their BB viewership) over tonight. There's a Chiefs pre-season game on tonight so, obviously, that means we have to pre-empt network television to broadcast the starters do "OK" for the first-half and then the second-string suck in the second half with the Chiefs ending up losing.

BB will re-aired locally for me sometime late tonight.

UGH!!! Trekker ANRGY!!!

Well, that's it. I'm pissed-off at this show now. I guess Jeff did himself in in getting rid of Russell hurt the numbers for his "side." With Russel still aroung Gnat would've likely gone off.

Gnat getting HOH isn't surprising. I think there was some talk of "letting her have it" since she hasn't yet (so now she can get her favorite foods, CD and pictures/letter from home.)

But.... UGH.

I hate her.

Anyway, now I root for Michelle to win for purely superficial reasons.

Kevin, Jordan and Gnat have all not played any "game" and have all been floaters or leaches to survive this far.

Note to future BB contestans: GET RID OF THE FLOATERS FIRST!

The frustrating thing is that it was really close. It came down to a three way tie breaker question. My heart always sinks whenever Julie says "Houseguests, please pick up your chalkboards..." because it becomes so random you could practically replace it with a coin toss.

And Natalie (after winning), shouting "This is for you Chima!" made me want to throw a dragonfly at her, or something else that sets her off.

Anyway, now I root for Michelle to win for purely superficial reasons.

I'm rooting for her because she really deserves it. And as Spot's Meow pointed out, she's by far had to put up with the most crap. I would have snapped in her place by now. But she's kept it together. Here's hoping she wins POV!

Yeah, "for Chima" who did herself in.

Chima is gone because she was a Diva-bitch and for no other reason than that. Chima'd still be in the house, likely, or at least had more of a chance if she didn't fall off her rocker.

And "drop" the mike in the pool and constantly ignored Big Brother.

It was hilarious to watch her go "I did and I stuck to my word" again and again, like she was really 18.

Oh well, looks like we're going for another BB6 final with two hated houseguests, with Maggie and Ivette being replaced by Kevin and Natalie.

I would love, LOVE, to see Michele or Jordan (most likely Michele) win the veto and take out Kevin under Natalie's HOH reign...haha.

I am of course disappointed to see Jeff go, he was my favorite. I do like Jordan though. I do agree that she's floated, but she's just so damn sweet and such a good person that I really feel like she deserves $500,000. I wouldn't mind if Michele won, but I have a love/hate relationship with her. Sometimes I like her and feel for her, but there's something I just don't like about her at other times. Like she kind of rubs me the wrong way, she's kind of annoying. And I can't stand the way she eats her food, it drives me crazy to watch on After Dark.

But Natalie annoys me faaaaaar more than Michele ever could. She has been claiming for a while now that Chima leaving was all Michele's fault. Um, what? Even Kevin's not that stupid. He wrote in his HOH blog all about how this game wasn't meant for Chima and it was her own fault that she left.

Things aren't going well, but they never do at this stage. Every single fuckin' season, the people I actually like leave by the final four, or they somehow make it to the final 3 and then lose out. It has been very rare that I like anyone in the final 2. Last year there was Dan at least.

I guess we'll see how the veto goes...ideal situation: Michele/Jordan wins and votes out Kevin, Michele wins the final HOH and takes Jordan to the final 2.

Ok, watching the re-airing of it from late last night.

I'm minutes into it.

I now hate Gnat more than anyone else ever in this game.

Ok, I really, really, hate Gnat.

I wonder what Kevin said during the first time Julie came on the viewscreen that caused them to cut the audio and switch to the aquarium!
