That was some stellar TV.
I'm curious as to why Daniel is the one who pushed the votes for Ameerah over the edge when he's on the outside looking in as far as the Leftovers alliance goes, but I'll probably never get an answer.
Pushing big events like the HoH competition to the LIVE feeds is a weird concept to me, personally, but it is what it is.
I wish I knew how to GIF, because Nicole and Alyssa's "shocked face" reactions after the Leftovers alliance executed their gameplan is super GIF-worthy.
Big Brother has been a lot of fun so far even though I had to play catch-up on the season, and I'm excited to see where things go from here.
I think in Daniel's case, he just didn't want to evict Terrence. Terrence really needs to step it up if he doesn't want to go. Even though it's obvious that some of the houseguests genuinely like him, he rarely has much to say about anything (unless all his dialogue is in the live feeds and we're not being shown any of it). He's a convenient person to keep around for votes, but he has zero chance of winning the game.
Pushing the live comps to the subscription service is really not fair to viewers who don't want to subscribe, can't afford to subscribe, or for whom this service isn't even available to them. There are so many American subscription services that Canadians aren't even allowed to legally access due to geoblocking. CBS doesn't mind taking our money for voting, though.
At least Survivor finally acknowledged that there are many Canadian fans and opened the show up to having Canadian competitors. Big Brother, on the other hand, is basically saying, "Canadian? Go away, we don't give a damn about you." Yes, we have a Canadian version of BB, but it's not the same.
Nicole and Alyssa were shocked, but for vastly different reasons. Nicole must be one hell of an actress, since Taylor didn't allude to figuring out that her "bestie" actually loathes her and is actively working to get her out.
And Nicole... displayed such arrogance, with her condescending speech to Terrence, telling him he would be leaving, telling everyone else he would be leaving... wow (btw, who cares if Nicole was a cop?). Paloma had this same arrogance toward Taylor (look who actually left), and I don't blame Nicole for being angry with Taylor's "quit if you think you have to/want to" speech. Alyssa fully expected Terrence to be the one to leave, since of course everyone in her two alliances just LOVES her... oops.
The arrogance of some of them this time around is repulsive.
Monte and Joseph really didn't look overjoyed to have Terrence join them. He probably would have been better off joining Nicole and Taylor.
Jasmine really, really, REALLY needs to shut up. That high-pitched squealing during the voting grated on the ears, and I have no idea what she said Julie was "prettier than".
Did anyone else catch who said something about "I'll see you later on The Amazing Race"? This suggests that at least one of them is going to be on that show (nice to know there will be another season). But it also has me wondering how the same person can be on both shows in the same year.
