Big Brother 21 discussion thread

Tommy is playing a good social game and throw in that he won an HOH and a veto, so he hasn't been a complete non-entity.

I've enjoyed Jackson since he was kicked out of the Six Shooters. He has played a smarter game and I feel we would've liked him more if Jack had never been there.

I like Cliff and wouldn't mind him winning either, but he thinks he is way smarter than he is. He is basically coasting in the game.

I can't take Christie. The whining about how hurt she is that America hates her. She is playing a fine game, but god I can't stand her.

Outside of Jess and Nicole, I can't say I'd be anymore disappointed if one person won over another.

This still hasn't been an outstanding season, but it is getting slightly better. Casting really needs to be completely revamped however. You can't tell me that out of the thousands of applications they receive that they can't come up with sixteen people without recruiting others and a more varied age, gender, race etc. group.

My order of preference for winning now would be:

Tommy
Cliff
Jackson
(Big gap)
Nick
Holly
Christie
Jessica
Nicole

I agree, Cliff is the best old guy in BB history. The guy who came in 3rd (I think his name was Gerry) was Dan’s goat, Jack played in an easier season.

Strategically he is very smart, his social game just isn’t great.

Anyone else surprised no double evictions yet? Getting toward the end and still 8 people.

Like the “Pompous douchebag” zing. I’m with Tommy wondering why he went so easy on Christie. So much material and he went with loud food chewing?

I've never been a fan of Zingbot.

Anyone heard when the next Survivor season starts? It must be coming up fairly soon.

It looks like we're finally getting a double eviction next Thursday. They are fun in theory, but they never end up turning out in a way that I'm happy with. Often, two of my favorites or more interesting houseguests end up going home on the same night. Hopefully that won't happen this time around.

At this point I’d be surprised if Jackson did not win. There might not be another chance where he wins neither HoH nor veto.

It's damn frustrating that half of the interview stuff isn't on TV anymore. Why even bother to make this show available in Canada if what we're allowed to see is less and less every season?

That said, I will not miss either evictee. Good riddance. And yeah, Jackson will probably win, unless one of the others wins the final HoH and realizes that he's the last person they should take along with them.

Jackson will win the endurance part of the final HoH (Or throw it to Holly and assume he’ll win part 2). He could be beaten in part 3 though which is usually “Guess the quote”.

Depends how crafty Tommy is trying to break Cliff and Nicole away from him.

That decision is going to come back to bite Nicole and Cliff in my opinion.
I agree. They should have turfed Holly. Yes, Jackson would have been enraged, but at this stage of the game, it's best to break up the alliances and couples.

That said, I think their concern about Christie's ability to sway the jury in favor of Tommy was a valid one.

Cliff is an idiot. Nobody would vote for Holly to win the money, since she's basically coasted on Jackson's coattails. If he keeps Jackson, he might as well hand him the $500k right then and there.

What happened to Cliff in these past two weeks? He went completely off the rails and decided that old southern values where two men have a handshake is going to means something in Big Brother. I don't know how the final four would've gone down if they hadn't told Holly they were keeping Tommy, but that was where it started. He sank his own game and Nicole didn't do herself any favours by continuing to listen to him and stand next to him during the whole Holly/Tommy debacle.

I am still cheering for Nicole, but I would also be alright with a Holly win. Both of them played the game well competition wise (even if it took Nicole forever to get a win) and neither of them has been as repugnant as Jackson.
