Seriously, some of you are watching in the Eastern time zone, would have known the results hours ago, and haven't posted???

It was a live program. We all watched it simultaneously despite the time zone difference.
Actually this was a pretty satisfying finale.
Vanessa got her praise (but no money) and cast a bitter final vote for Liz, clearly out of spite for Steve evicting her. Steve made a very compelling case for himself in the Q&A and all of the votes for Liz were purely sentiment-based.
I didn't expect Vanessa to be such a sore loser in her voting, but her volatile emotions were always what kept her from being one of the greats that Jason compared her to. Even Boogie tipped his hat to Ian after being played a few seasons ago.

When it got down to 6, Steve was my second choice after Vanessa. Can't say he didn't play a good game, he laid low for the first half, never gave anyone a reason to evict him, made all the right alliances in the second half. Not the most exciting game but that's textbook winning BB strategy.
I haven't seen the Survivor premiere yet, I'll watch that this evening.

Oh god I was sooooo ticked Vanessa lost that HOH. I blame Shelli, I can't believe meeting Clay wasn't her highlight.
Oh well, learning that Vanessa has already made millions on the poker circuit makes me feel much better. She was doing it more for the challenge than the money.
Of the two left, Steve was by far the better choice. My god, Liz's answers during the interrogation were awful. I thought Steve's point about who was evicted under each of their HOH's was a really good one.

Steve's whole hyperventilation thing was a real joy to watch. Both during the vote reveal, and part 3 of the HOH comp.
Thought I'd share this post-Jury, pre-finale interview with Evil Dr. Will. I was laughing out loud at a couple points. And I enjoyed hearing his insights on the jury after leading the deliberation with them.
Interesting. Looks like "Austin's Angels" stuck together to the end.

I'm watching Survivor and I'd love a thread. I'm willing to make it but don't necessarily want to be the guy who creates ALL the reality show threads. 
But if I did it, my unbroken record of only starting avatar contest threads would be broken!
