I love both. I just enjoy Beverly Crusher's charcater, she fits in with the crew as a caring individual who treats the patient rather than the illness. Where as Pulaski I had a Love/hate relationship with. I found her bitchy, and a pain in the ass but a great Doctor however I felt she was more aboult solving the problem and treating the illness rather than the patient.

I voted Come Back Beverly because she started the show, she should of and thankfullt she did come back to end the show.

Couldn't agree with you more!:techman:

I felt the other way 'round with Crusher and Pulaski. Crusher didn't have much of a bedside manner either, but Pulaski, while cantankerous, exhibited a lot of compassion for her patients. For example, her rant in "Contagion" when nothing was working then smiling at her junior when she suggested making an "old fashion splint" to treat a broken leg. Then there's always PCS -- Pulaski's Chicken Soup.

This one is never gonna die. :brickwall:

Pulaski. She was more believable as a Chief Medical Officer. People in that position are not as pliable as Crusher.

I didn't like Crusher during the show's original run, and I always wish they'd kept Pulaski. In recent years, however, Dr. Crusher has grown on me. Still, I prefer Dr. Pulaski. I thought she was a much more interesting character.

It would have been nice to see them interact, or to have Pulaski cameo in a film!

Crusher was better though, Pulaski was all stroppy during her time on the series, a bit too hard line to go for 6 seasons without us ending up hating her for something or other. Although I did like the fact she didn't mind speaking her mind ^^.

Pulaski was a much more interesting and vocal character. Crusher really just wasn't that interesting for most of the series. I am disappointed Pulaski didn't stay for the rest of the series.

However, I did like when Crusher started taking charge of the ship, thanks to her command accreditation - it gave her another aspect to her character that I really liked (especially since Wesley was gone and she stopped being the "mom" character).

What would happen if Pulaski and McCoy went out on a date?

1.) They would dislike each other from the start.

2.) They would be friends.

3.) They would become lovers.

4.) Get married and have kids. (anti menopausal medication)

5.) Old ass McCoy having to do another federation space tour to pay another alimony and child support payments? (Alimony and lawyers work through time and space demensions)

definitly crusher she stuck to proper protocol and procedure. Her son was definitly an asset to the ship. sometimes it was nice to have a motherly figure to the crew because sometimes the people acted like children and had to be treated like children which is a trait picard really lacked. especially when she got stuck in the warp bubble she figured it out . pulaski would have been lost forever.

Crusher wins for smacking the Borg about in Descent, but I'm not sure if I can forgive her for not taking Wesley with her when she left the Enterprise.

When I first saw Pulaski, I was mad because she wasn't Crusher. However, I came into TNG in the middle, so I was used to Season 3 and beyond Beverly, not Season 1 Beverly. In later years, re-watching the series from the beginning, I began to really appreciate Pulaski's contribution to the show. I was still glad we ultimately got Bev back, but I didn't hate Pulaski for not being Crusher anymore. ;)
