Best way to get over first breakup?

anybody who doesn't cry and that includes men...there is something wrong with them. When a guy tells me he doesn't cry...that's a little red flag for me. Not a semifore flag...but a little pixie flag.

I may have spelled semifore wrong.

I cry, don't worry about that. Heck, I cried during a POKÉMON movie. How's THAT for crying? ;)

I'm not exactly sure you should be admitting that. LOL

Don't worry I cried routinely during Little House on the Prarie. Still do.
So how many of you guys want to admit to watching some Little House and shedding a tear?

It was at the end of the first movie...where Ash dies and Pikachu keeps trying to revive him. But it won't work, and Pikachu just sits there and starts to cry...then all the other Pokémon start to cry too, and their tears bring Ash back to life. I cannot keep from bawling like a baby when this is happening. :(

You're just a nice person. Whatever moves you you should go with and let it flow...whatever that may be. Usually things with animals will get me really choked up and upset. People & Pokemon ...ah fuck em.

It's bizarre you posted that because when i was saying how the animal sufferings hurt me I was actually thinking of this movie I saw when i was a kid with Mitch the otter and he got killed in a terribly gruesome roadside ditch incident......and here you go posting the otters...spooky.

uh oh, I'm sorry if I brought up painful memories... :(

LOL no not at all...I'm over mitch...but it was just weird that I was thinking of the otter and than you posted it!

I'll admit to shedding a few here and there through that series. Especially in the episode where they first learn Mary is going blind.

And I have to wonder about anyone who didn't tear up during both Forrest Gump and The Patriot.

I'd probably cry during that episode where what's his name accidentally sets the fire and Merlin Olsen's wife and Mary's baby dies. I always remember that scene where he plays the music box for Mary and she starts screaming MY BABY, MY BABY. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.:(

I cried but it was out of hatred for the films. :p

Go out and get fucked with your mates
(...I meant that as 'fucked' as in really drunk, but if you want to take it literally and shag some random girl then do that too)

Listen to Country music. The music of pain.
Nice sly reference

I never liked Little House, but I often got choked up at the touching moments on Three's Company. ;)

Star Treks, how you get over a woman or a relationship depends not only on your individual personality, but also on the nature of the relationship. There are women who meant a great deal to me but who I lost interest in when I got a better look inside them; there's another woman who I was involved with twenty years ago who I still haven't gotten over, although I'm at peace with the situation. That's the way to go, in my opinion-- make peace with it.

Social activities-- and avoid over-indulging with alcohol. Hobbies can help, but if your hobbies are generally anti-social the only thing that will really help is positive, useful interaction with other people (some that can lead to innocent distractions and show that there are other possibilities).

Now, granted, I'm a habitual long-term relationship kind of guy. Four months is the longest I've gone between multi-year relationships (the opposite problem, haha)... and I think I've finally gotten the hang of being "single."
