Best Series Ending Scene...

I think all five series have really strong ending moments. If I had to rank them, it might go like this:

1. DS9 pullback
2. TNG poker scene
3. ENT monologue montage
4. VOY setting a course for home
5. TOS signatures

Regarding your third pick, I would agree. of course the episode itself would be dead last.

... The final scene of TNG was really more of a transition from TV to the movies, while DS9's finale was the end of the story.

Actually, I never thought of DS9's final scene was the end of the story... ... Kira and Jake looking toward the celestial temple as if they're waiting for Sisko's return... and he was supposed to return...

I don't know how many might agree, but my favorite is the final scene in ENT's Terra Prime ... "if a human and Vulcan wanted to have a child..." that was a nod to the true "next generation"...

I agree. And I really love the final scene with Jake and Kira and how the camera pulls back.

Yep, that one's hard to beat. Did you notice the "star" where the station is stays lit up even thru the credits?
