^There were definitely some good season one episodes.

My personalal favorite was "The Neutral Zone", but I also liked those you mentioned, plus a couple others.

Overall though, I think season 1 was weak compared to TNG's peak run.

I did a run down of episodes I like or think are good Trek/sf from each season. The numbers are below. I was surprised because for years I thought season 3 was my favourite, then for years I thought it was season 4. Looks like it's gone back to being season 3.

Hide and Q was decent as well.
