I rewatched it fairly recently and I'm still not quite sure what you mean. Q puts humanity on trial for the crime of being a "dangerous, savage, child race" and tells Picard to turn back and return to Earth. Picard invites Q to test him and his crew as representatives of humanity. At no point did Q threaten to destroy the human race.

From AGT:

Q: "It's time to put an end to your 'trek' through the stars, make room for other more worthy species."
Picard: "You're... going to deny us travel through space?"
The court laughs.
Q (laughing): "No! No! You obtuse piece of flotsam. You are to be denied existence. Humanity's fate has been sealed, you will be destroyed."
Picard: "Q, I do not believe that even you are capable of such an act."

:)

Iamnotspock:

Yes, it's true that Q says humanity will be destroyed in All Good Things but doesn't explicitly say so in Encounter At Farpoint. However, Q set in motion the anti-time anomaly, and then set Picard bouncing through time, to give him an opportunity to save humanity from destruction. "The continuum didn't think you had it in you, but I did," Q says after Picard solves the paradox with help from the past and future Enterprises.

Red Ranger

Yes, I know. That's what I'm saying.
:klingon: All of the temporal time travel paradoxes give me a headache.

"Crewman Garen; what is the problem up there? Keep going!" Tuvok
"Maybe he'll slip and plunge to his death..." -- Crewman Chel in Learning Curve

Chakotay to Tuvok in State of Flux:

"You were working for her, Seska was working for them. Was anyone on that ship working for me?!"

Weyoun 8: "The Founder wants to see me. She has to be told about (Worf and Ezri's escape)."
Damar: "I'm sure she'll understand. If not, I look forward to meeting Weyoun 9." Strange Bedfellows

Female Changeling: "If our cloning facilities were operational, I would eliminate this Weyoun immediately!" Tacking Into the Wind

One of my favorite ownages was when Worf's brother, Commander Kurn, does a turn as Enterprise's first officer in the TNG ep, Sins of the Father. He's explaining his style of command while Wesley and Data murmur. He comes up to him and roars, "Do you wish to SPEAK, Acting Ensign Wesley Crusher!" And Wesley immediately replies, "No, sir. Commander, sir!" Priceless. :klingon: -- RR

Janeway to Chakotay in Unimatrix Zero Pt1:

The last time I heard "My mind to your Mind I had a headache for two weeks"

Also I forget the exact diglog, but in the Trek film "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" while Kirk is climbing El Cap in Yosemite without any safety devices. McCoy dresses him down about his recklessness, and never lets up on him.

My favourite:

Voyager episode "Death Wish"

Q (on seeing Chakotay for the first time): Oooo! Facial art! How wilderness of you!
