Yeah, I omitted a couple and I'm pretty sure that's gonna bite me in the ass. :p But please note the "Other" option at the bottom of the poll.

Iron Man 2008.

Never has anyone been more perfect for a part than Robert Downey, Jr. playing Tony Stark.

It's very close between X2 and TDK, but I voted X2 on account of TDK's bafflingly omnipotent Joker and other storytelling cheats. Besides, X2 has one of the most amazing casts ever, and it's put to excellent use.

That, and Batman isn't technically a "superhero". I kid, kid! :P

Downey is a pretty-good Iron Man, but I'd argue that Christopher Reeve as Superman was just as perfect casting. And the only real downside to Downey as Iron Man is that he will never get cast to be Dr. Strange in a movie (which he would also be absolutely perfect for).

And Superman (1978) got my vote in the poll.

I suppose it depends on the standard. Some of the others may hew closer to the source material, but The Dark Knight is the best movie I think.

Not an expert on this genre, but Batman is my favourite of the ones I've seen. I liked The Dark Knight a lot, but I find the 1989 film more enjoyable - excellent writing, design and music and Michael Keaton will always be the caped crusader for me.

Kick-Ass beats them all by several orders of magnatude.

[you forgot Howard The Duck on that list]

While I think Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are both excellent flicks, I honestly prefer Batman Begins. That got my vote.

Hard to decide between Iron Man (2008) and The Dark Knight.

Iron Man--fun, energetic, full of wit, charm, and camp--and coolness, of course.

But in the end...TDK wins out for me. Pulse-pounding, dramatic--THE most thrilling film I've EVER seen!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine comes in third. Most fast-paced film I've ever seen--full of wit and awesomeness (why, oh WHY did Agent Zero die so early?)...albeit with a rediculously simplistic and formulaic plot....
