BOYCE: Sometimes people will tell things to their bartender that they'd never tell their doctor. (The Cage)
Thanks for the link, RR! It includes another of my favorite McCoy phrases... "If I jumped every time a light came on around here, I'd end up talking to myself."Here's a YouTube homage to McCoy, with most of his famous, "I'm a doctor, not a (fill in the blank)" sayings.-- RR
TWOK is one of my favourite mvoies, and I love Bones in it. Here are a couple of my favourite lines of his from that:
"Not anymore; now we can do both at the same time! According to myth, the Earth was created in six days. Now, watch out! Here comes Genesis! We'll do it for you in six minutes!"
"Jim, I'm your doctor and I'm also your friend. Get back your command! Get it back before you turn into part of this collection, before you really do grow old."

One of my favorite exchanges between Kirk & McCoy is when Kirk decides to use Regula One's space station transporter to see if they'll find Stage Two of Genesis:
BONES: Go? Where are we going?
KIRK: Where they went!
BONES: Suppose they went . . . nowhere?
KIRK: Then this'll be your big chance to get away from it all!

I think that's my favorite line in all of Star Trek - all incarnations. One of my favorite McCoy lines isn't humorous, and it's very old-school Trekkish philosophy.
"In this galaxy, there's a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in all the universe, three million-million galaxies like this. And in all of that and perhaps more, only one of each of us."
"...don't destroy the one named Jim Kirk."
Great line.
