best KID episode

Given these requirements, I'm going to go with the already mentioned "Disaster". Picard's subplot in that episode is one of the best things the franchise ever did with children.

But if I were to, ahem, ignore the requirements, I'd probably go with "The Visitor."

But, now, when he went adopting little Marrissa and setting up the Kids Crew, that was going a little silly.

I doubt "In the Cards" counts, but that was a nice one where Jake was trying to do something for his father. Although I'm pretty sure he was a teenager by then.

Though this choice may not technically count, I liked the interplay between Seven and One in 'The Drone'. One was technically a child of sorts.

However, with real children, it is a tough choice. Would 'Charlie X' count or was the character too grown up?

Future Imperfect, I totally forgot about that one. I wish the alien had looked a little more less 'World News"ish...but yeah, not a bad choice!!!

I think it could easily have become silly, but it was presented in just the right tone.
