I'm glad that in the next shows the producers realized, that even though Star Trek may be watched by kids it shouldn't be about kids!

The results sorted by series - first the "main cast" (those billed as regulars, whatever their actual screentime was) and separately those billed as guest stars, or starring only in movies. (Although I can't remember for the life of me if Pulaski was billed as a regular, so I'll just put her with the recurring characters.)

I voted for Q. I thought he was awesome. I didn't realize I could vote for more untill it was too late...if I had, there would've been waaay more!
Well, since there were no limits placed on votes...I put in for Spock, Picard, Data, The Doctor, Ben Sisko, Ezri Dax, Garak, Kira, and O'Brien. I mean, I like a lot more than those, and that's just a "very best" list...it's hard to narrow. ST has had some great characters over the years.
Can't imagine how I've missed this one until now...I was out of town and not BBSing when it first came out, so I guess that's why.

I picked Spock, of course, since he's my absolute favorite character in all of scifi, as well as Sarek, Picard, Barclay, Q, Sisko, Kira, O'Brien, Garak (I'm not one of those who likes Garak, exactly, but I do enjoy that character a lot), Dukat (one of the great, great bad guys of scifi - can hardly take my eyes off him when he's on screen), K'Ehleyr, Janeway, Chakotay (OK, OK, mostly 'cause he was so nice to look at - a gal's gotta have some fun), the Doctor and Torres. I also checked "other" in honor of various wonderful Romulans, particularly the unnamed Romulan played by Marc Lenard.
I like to think that my choice of both Q and Barclay - two of my all-time favorite non-regular characters - says something about me as a person. What, I'm not exactly sure, but something.
