It was but the concept has been used in other shows like Macross/Robotech, and B5 Crusade.

My favorite domestic cartoons are Gargoyles, the second season of Iron Man, Beast Wars, and Exo-Squad. For Japanese stuff I like the various Gundam series, Macross, and Space Battleship Yamato(Star Blazers).

    Not in any real order:
    Animeniacs
    Batman TAS
    Beavis and Butthead
    The Critic
    Gargoyles
    Ghostbusters
    Reboot
    Robotech
    Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles
    Spider-Man TAS
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (The original)
    Transformers (The original one)
    X-Men TAS

All of those were from the 80's or 90s, I think. I'm more of a fan of Japanese animation though. That list would be much longer.

Well I'm only aware of two personally. The one I watched in the '80s as a child and another one with different characters called The Extreme Ghostbusters which aired in the 90s. Both were interesting but I didn't watch the newer one religiously. So the 80s one, I guess.

No, This was the one I watched (maybe anyway )

I'd have to look for the other one I was thinking of.

Edit: This was the other one, Extreme Ghostbusters

Pinky and the Brain and...I don't think anybody's mentioned Duck Dodgers yet. Oh, darn -- I just looked and the modern ones didn't come out until 2003. That explains that.

    regarding Batman:TAS

I didnt really get into it back in the 90s b/c I was a Disney whore back then & only watched the Disney shows(Ducktales, Tail-Spin, Aladdin etc) & Tiny Toons/Animaniacs. Id seen a couple episodes here & there, liked them but never really thought much of them, I guess I liked the cartoonier stuff more back then.

well currently, after having loved The Dark Knight & that film's version of Harvey Dent/Two Face, Im watching all the Batman TAS eps with Two Face in them on You Tube &, man Im impressed at just how well done the show is. The animation is, wow, & the stories so adult! I cant believe how mature this is for a kid's show! no pop culture jokes or toilet humor...and God is Two Face depressing!:( I dont know anything about the Batman comics other than what's been shown in the films(including the cheesball TF from Batman Forever) I thought maybe the ultra tragic Two-Face in TDK was just Nolan's take on the character but NO the AS one is just as bad! I want to wrap him in a blanket & feed him some soup.
    Damn now I want a Two-Face avatar...

Personally, I always liked TAS Two-Face. He had one of the cooler voices. I'm glad you're finally getting to enjoy the awesomeness of that series. ;) :D
