I remember seeing that this was on some people's anticipation list and it's definitely on mine. Ever since I heard that Fincher was directing and Pitt was cast in the lead, I knew that it was going to be gold.

I'm very excited about this film for a number of reasons: David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, and of course the premise. While the film is based on a fascinating short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the film retains very little beyond the name of the lead character and the basic premise. That being said, when I read the short story, I saw how difficult it would be to have a mostly true adaptation of the story so I don't have a problem with the major alterations.
