Ben Browder in DW Western episode...

Ben Browder, Arther Darvill, John Barrowman, Matt Smith, all at the same time ...

I'll be in my bunk. Again.
m who says John Barrowman is involved, he just booked himself a US pilot.

wamdue................................................the point.

he's saying it in the context of a fantasy orgy. like if i were to say; "Karen Gillan, Georgia Moffett, Sophia Myles, Eve Myles and Alex Kingston at once.

I'll be in my bunk"

See?
here was me thinking this was a Doctor Who episode discussion related forum. ;)

[ who says John Barrowman is involved, he just booked himself a US pilot.

Hope his husband doesn't find out.
um, im not sure I "walked into that one" like the expression suggests.

Browder is great news. Farscape did seem to have something of a Who vibe going on, so it ought to be like an old friend popping in.

I just saw this on my Facebook news feed. My level of anticipation for the next season just broke through the roof (not I wasn't excited already)! The star of my second favorite science-fiction show guest starring on my favorite science-fiction show? What's there not to love? :D

I read somewhere Idris Elba's in ep 4.
Can anyone confirm this? If this is true, this is almost as exciting as Browder appearing!

My Mother will be all over this, she loves Browder so much she even managed to sit through five minutes of his first Stargate episode.

Who was the cult American sci-fi actor last year?

Mark (Battlestar Galactica/Firefly/Supernatural/X-Files/Voyager/Charmed/Dollhouse/Medium/Middleman/Warehouse 13/Chuck) Sheppard.

Son of W. Morgan (Has an impressive Cult CV of his own) Sheppard.

Mark (Battlestar Galactica/Firefly/Supernatural/X-Files/Voyager/Charmed/Dollhouse/Medium/Middleman/Warehouse 13/Chuck) Sheppard.

Don't forget his recurring role on Leverage -- not SF/fantasy, but still a very fun show, and a particularly smarmy and Sheppardesque role.

Recently I was watching some old shows on Hulu, and I think I saw Sheppard as the villain in both M.A.N.T.I.S. and The Invisible Man (2000) in the same day -- and then saw him on Leverage soon thereafter.

He also directed a low-budget direct-to-video adaptation of Jules Verne's Mysterious Island, with his father as the aged Captain Nemo and himself as the younger Nemo in flashbacks. So Canton Delaware wasn't the first character played by both Sheppards in the same production.

For some strange reason this news makes me want to watch the classic episode The Gunfighters.

Mark Sheppard (Firefly, Trek, NuBSG) and his father W. Morgan Sheppard

Niether of which are Americans.

Mark Sheppard is well known for his work on American television. While he isn't actually American, calling him a cult American icon isn't wrong either, IMO.

I watched The Gunfighters when it was released on DVD last year and really enjoyed it. It might me one of my favourite Hartnell stories. I really don't get the hate.

I think the awesome meter on DW just about exploded! Between this casting and the ST:TNG crossover, we really have the coolest Sci-Fi news to hit the 'net in a long time.

The Ballad Of The Last Chance Saloon is what I view as the likely culprit.
