Yeah it was because of George and Mitchells connection that it didn't harm him.

Edit: I was also thinking, George must have triggered the transformation himself because it was still sunlight when he transformed, which could mean he can control his own transformations.

Also when he stopped attacking when he saw Nina, George was told that when a Warewolf meets another, they try to tear each other apart, but George stopped himself, now at the time Nina had already been scratched and infected, so George having the oppisite reaction to what he should have, could that mean he can partially control himself?

So it looks like george has infected nina (when he pushed her away). Or did she have it before?

really good episode of skins this week (ad break at the minute) explains a lot about JJ. (without spoiling for others)

This one reaffirmed my love of JJ. He punched a child and appeased him by giving him a lolly! And his pyjamas :D

I was genuinely quite shocked by Cook and Pandora. Poor Thomas - he's so lovely as well.

I was surprised too, I thought it would have stopped when Thomas returned. I thought that this was probably the best this series.
I think JJ is probably my favourite character, along with Pandora.

I was out at a Rob Brydon stand up, got in half way through, so i'm just gonna watch the recording tomorrow.

Oh, that's the comedian you were referring to in the other thread, sweet, you should have said it was Rob Brydon.

Was it good?
No, actually it was his warm up act I was quoting, forgot his name though. Hal something.

Yeah, it was a pretty good show. Wasn't very quotable though, cos most of it is only funny in the context of the act, how he says it as much as what he says, that kinda thing. But we all enjoyed it.

Hal Cruttenden was the warm up act, I found his website, which has a couple of videos of him, and his blog.

From Hal Cruttenden's Blog

I’m in Leeds at the moment doing my second week of the Rob Brydon tour. We’re not actually playing Leeds but it’s a great location to reach Hull, York and Harrogate - the three venues we’re at.
Hull City Hall last night was very nice. It’s a stunning building (which is rare for Hull) and, as ever with Rob’s tour, was totally sold out. It’s great to be working with an act who creates such excitement. If you haven’t yet booked, I really recommend it. After a brilliant opening act (that’s me) Rob does about a superb hour and a half show. The thing that makes him such a good performer is that he is so multi-talented. He has some great material; he’s a natural at bantering with the audience (unusual for someone who hasn’t spent years on the circuit in clubs); does impressions and finishes with several songs - he even sings well…but then again he is Welsh! Why are the Welsh such amazing singers?

Speculation is that this is why his transformation took much longer than usual.

Oh right I see.

As this thread has reserfaced, I want to just say how impressed I was at the 'JJ' episode of Skins last Thursday. It's just annoying that an episode that was that good came so far in the series.

Also what is up with Thomas and Cook rivalry over Pandora? I mean Thomas has been the focus of one episode and pratically hasn't been seen since, all in all I've got no reason to push for him to stay with Pandora, but as Cook seems to have a soul and each episode he does something for someone else more and more, I just want him to stay with Pandora. Also what is with the lesbian sleeping with JJ? Now the whole series where I wanted her to get with Naomi is gone because now I just want to see her with JJ after the ending of the episode.

It's honestly like the writers of Skins went off, wrote their own episodes and then didn't collaborate with each other.

Skins has been picked up for a fourth series.

From TubeTalk

Did you see all those rumours claiming that this series of Skins would be the last? Rubbish!

I've just heard that E4 has given the go-ahead for a full fourth series, to be broadcast early in 2010.

While ratings are admittedly down on the first two years, the programme is still one of E4's biggest draws, with around a million viewers each week.

Well, I'm glad shes alive, because that would have been a senseless death. Nobody likes her, she hasn't had a chance to redeem herself from doing anything bad. Like Tony did in the first series, he was an absolute prick until he realised nobody likes that, he was changing, then bang, hit by a bus. Same with Chris, you see this boy becoming a man, getting a girlfriend, a house, a job he's good at, and then he dies, dramatic effect.

In this series, the only character I sort of care about is JJ, because of his episode, but yesterday (even though the focus was on Effy), it seems that the charity sex at the end of JJ's episode WAS really charity sex. I was hoping for a struggle between him and Naomi. Although I did like that he stood up to Cook, I doubt he would have done that in the earlier episodes.

I'm still enjoying the series, but it does seem to have got quite episodic, and big changes in character or situation seem to happen between episodes, which I'm finding annoying. I hope series 4 improves on this.
I think JJ and Pandora are my favourite characters, I think they're the ones I'm most curious about seeing what happens to them.

See, I'm starting to not care about Pandora now because she's not getting enough screentime. In the first and second series, there would be a central character but we would see the lives of almost all the major characters progress. In this series, the focus seems to be entirely on the title character, and on top of that, the things we learnt from the character in the episode before seems to be neglected and forgot about. JJ is a prime example of this, and for some reason so is Cook. I mean ALL the writers seem to want to some how take the focus to him, I don't know how they'll redeem him.

Just wondering, did anyone else have a college life this stupid? I mean, did any of lose all your friends because a physco was stangling you and you accidently hit her with a rock?

I was wondering if Katie was being that mental, or if Effy was just totally tripping? I think the last ep may have been the worst episode of the series.

I think Katie was really doing it. She's pretty evil.

I'm a bit annoyed by the Pandora story because I want to know WHY she was sleeping with Cook. We've barely seen her for weeks. I thought it would turn out Thomas didn't want to have sex before marriage or something. Maybe we'll find out next week (I think there's only two to go, I'm guessing next week's won't have Effy and Cook then the finale will have nothing but Effy and Cook.)
