No one is in love, or after a good time.

She wants power (limited power, inside the group, people shaped steering wheels) and he wants to go home to his wife in one piece.

If Tuvok had slept with with Seska, he might have noticed that her anatomy is off by a 16th of an inch, and couldn't possibly be a Bajoran.

I can't imagine Tuvok doing that, seeing he is so loyal to his wife he even has great trouble using the holodeck to 'relieve himself' when genuine pon farr comes along, until Paris manages to persuade him that it's OK if he is using the image of his wife.

Then again, I can't really see Tuvok playing a 'disgruntled terrorist scum' character convincingly in the first place. But perhaps that's just my lack of imagination. I suppose he still would act as a Vulcan with suppressed passions and emotions.

Tuvok was in on the gag when Paris was screwing with Chakotay, pretending to be a jerk, to get kicked off the ship.

This Vulcan is either a fairly good actor, or Chakotay is dumb.

^ true. Then again, how much 'acting' would be involved? Probably it simply amounted to not letting Chakotay in on their little scheme and do the stuff he would be doing anyway otherwise.

I've decided I'm going to assume that they did once have sex, agreed to never talk about it afterward, and the absolute lack of evidence is indeed all the evidence we require that this must surely have occurred.

I dunno if Vulcans in general are that casual about it, as it is, after all, quite an emotional experience.

Before anyone brings up T'Pol, she did have more trouble controlling her emotions than other Vulcans.

Being a touch telepathic race wouldn't Vulcan Tuvok have rumbled Seska's secret identity whilst rockin' her world?

If Tuvok tells the Maquis that he has a wife, and then they find out he's a nark, the wife dies.
The Maquis are not that powerful. Part of their narrative is they're just simple people who took up arms to protect themselves after the UFP abandoned them at the treaty bargaining table. Moreover, they lost. They weren't able to commit murder with impunity in the UFP.

^If they did, and it became generally known, it would undermine their support by doing wonders for claims that they were simply terrorists in any case.

The Maquis needed all the sympathizers they could get.

Whut? :wtf:

If Tuvok's not married then he has no excuse not to let Seska lick every inch of his body head to toe.
Other than the fact that with Vulcans, they're touch telepaths, which is why they rarely touch anyone other than their bondmates (aka wives/husbands)?

I can't think of any reason whatsoever why Tuvok and Seska would have sex unless Seska decided to coerce him for her own amusement. And given how twisted some forms of fanfic can be, someone has probably already written such a story. It's not something I'd want to read, though.

There are a few fanfics I've noticed in which Janeway offers to take T'Pel's place and Tuvok finally (after much arguing on Janeway's part) accedes. In one story, Janeway ends up with a small, cute, pointy-eared baby 9 months later...

"Whut?" is a pretty general question.

I do not Think that Seska was there to catch the cell, our friend was there to steer Chakotay towards Starfleet targets and warn Cardassian targets to make it look good, when they pretended to be surprised as the Val Jean arrives all guns blazing.

Which required Seska to have redundancies/contingencies, in place to stick a saddle on whoever was the next Captain of that little ship which could never-ever-ever be Seska, because if the crew was captured by Star Fleet, a cell leader, could never be identified as a member of the Cardassian military, or the Obsidian Order, or whatever the hell she was.

Tuvok was 3rd or fourth in line of succession, but I highly doubt that Seska would let another women on top of her, since she is a raging misogynist, so B'Elanna is far more likely to fall down an open turbolift shaft than enjoy an ounce of job security.

How was Seska supposed to have gotten Tuvok's huge pointy ear quickly if something unsightly happened to Chakotay?

Sorry. It was the shortest way I could think of, to say "WTF were you thinking when you posted this OP, because it doesn't make any sense?".

At least she'd be less likely to abandon Tuvok's child on the nearest planet than she did her babies with Tom Paris.

There are fanfic stories about that as well, how the lizard babies either grow up and go looking for their parents, or somehow revert to human form and go looking for Janeway... such stories never end well for Janeway.

That wasn't Janeway's decision. Chakotay didn't know how to enter the discovery of the babies in his log so they decided to let them slither into the swamp. What happens on the Threshold stays on the threshold.

It must not be spoken of again. It will do no good..
