Between Tuvok and Janeway? Probably not dissimilar than between Sarek and Amanda - with the understanding that Tuvok and Janeway weren't actually getting married, just establishing enough of a bond so she could help him with his pon farr.

I don't remember if his pon farr happened before or after they had contact with the Federation. Even so, after establishing contact, I should think that's one thing Tuvok and his wife would have discussed... since she would otherwise have logically concluded he would have died without her.

If you want the most disturbing variety of "solutions" to this sort of problem, there's a fanfic where the only female around when Spock became afflicted was his own teenage daughter (Spock and his children - all teenagers/young adults - were stranded on a planet and couldn't get back to the ship where his wife was). The author handled it very... logically, it wasn't graphic or gratuitous, but it's definitely one of the more disturbing fanfics I've ever read.

(Original) Suder wouldn't?

Remember who Suder's commander was. Chakotay would not have ordered a hit on Tuvok's family.

And yeah, I'm aware that Suder liked to kill people. but the implication was that he'd never done so against orders before he came to Voyager.

B'Elanna broke ranks to blow up an occupied planet, against Chakotay's insistence, and she did not lose her job at all.

The unspoken solution: "Masturbation".

Unless that's what Tuvok meant by "meditation" but I doubt it.

Season Four Message in a Bottle the Doctor zips over to the AQ... A week later in Hunters, Neelix had processed, printed and delivered all the mail from back home, which is when Kathryn found out that her Fiancée had moved on, because she was dead.

Half way through season 6 in Pathfinder, Barclay finds Voyager and the Midas array starts sending regular mail to Voyager once a month. Tuvok hits pon far half half through season 7 in Body and Soul, which the most simple math says that he last time he had pon farr before this was 6 months before Caretaker.

Maybe Tuvok had blood fever during his under cover mission, although maybe he didn't and just said that he did, but it was so recent since he had been cock happy trying to breed that his still jumbled chemistry could still fool a tricorder... Although, even if he faked it, a lone Vulcan trapped desperately marooned in space, half way towards a natural death from not getting any, LUCKILY rescued by Chakotay.... Is one way to side step extreme vetting when joining a terrorist cell.

No, I'm not suggesting that Chakotay asked for women Volunteers, or ordered one of his lady underlings to receive full intercourse from a completely unhinged alien 3 times stronger than a human being.

Chakotay bent over and presented his babymaker, because he's the f###ing Captain.

Oh.

Is that why Seska and Chuckles broke up?

I assume the question is did they have sex together, as I'm assuming you don't want to know if they SNORED together.

My answer is no - I think Chakotay always had a vague notion that there was something "off" about her. And not just that she was a Cardassian, but that she was of questionable sanity as well.

No?

If Chuckles didn't trust her, she would be working as a janitor back at his home base. If Chuckles didn't trust her so much that he had to have an eye on her 26/7, it would be easier to drop her off somewhere like a space bus station, and forget that she exists.

I'm thinking what broke up Chakotay and Seska was religion, since her racist condescending interpretation of a devout Bajoran would probably be more closer to a hypermanic paranoid dellusionalist... Prophets this, prophets that, lets stop while we're being shot at to pray, oh silly Chakotay, my gods are real, and your gods are total bullshit, and you'll let me criticize your religion endlessly because I'm one hell of a lay.
