Other wise, the effects look cool. Music was a little TOO Murray Gold i thought, kinda like season 1.

Well, considering Gold is back doing the music for the new season, if it had sounded like anyone else but Gold, I might have been worried.

I knew that along with everyone else.

But, he dumbed down his music a fair bit in the run over the past few seasons, but this opening music just seemed a bit TOO Murray Gold for Murray Gold.

Its much in the same context as Tim Burtons Planet of The Apes, where Tim said that Elfmans score was a bit TOO Danny Elfman, so he rescored parts of the theme and other aspects of the OST.

Red Button hasn't been around for 25 years, it's been maybe 10 years since those sorts of services. Before that we had teletext/ceefax/oracle going back to the 70s.

I was aware of that. I was reading on Wikipedia and it described Red Button as the "successor" to Ceefax. We didn't have that sort of goody back then, either.
