So is there hope for Ouija: The Movie? (Seriously, I'd like to see that.)

It was called Witchboard, starring Tawny Kitaen from 1986. Actually it was a pretty good movie, IMHO

People love to trash the idea of movies made from board games, video games and Saturday Night Live sketches, but every so often you get a movie like Clue, Mortal Kombat or Wayne's World.

I dont remember any of these movies being any good.

Obviously you don't remember anything about Clue then. Great movie.

What reports are you looking at? Box Office Mojo has it at $129.6 million in foreign sales so far (although yesterday's Variety pointed out that the movie may have gone over a reported $209 million budget, so it will have to open well here in the states to turn a profit).

Hmm I was casually looking at some figures unrelated to this thread when I noticed it, its possible they were out of date!!

While the movie may or may not be great, frankly i have to say that successful SF always brings about the likelihood that other SF is produced, so I root for it on that level.
