Batman: The Animated Series / MillenniuM

Well, I collapsed under pressure and ordered these (both the Batman and Millennium CDs). I look forward to them. A shame Snow's work isn't being appreciated as much here. He did some great work on Millennium.
 
Mine came in today. Curse in jealousy, CD-less BBSers.


Oh, Mark Snow's music for Winter time is perfect.

And the sound is crisp and clear on both. After listening to the suite at the beginning of B:TAS, I jumped to "The Last Laugh" and had myself a great 15mins.

Over 2,000 (of the 3,000 copies) are sold out. This title won't make ot to March. Don't dilly dally if you wanted it! I got mine. :D

Just thought I'd let everyone here know that La-La Land is now accepting orders for a new Expanded Edition of the Batman: MotP score, expecting to ship on March 31st.

Not just expanded, they are saying it's complete and it's the original score, as some piece were edited and appearently messed with on the original OST.

And a few weeks ago B:TAS sold out. Glad I got my copy before that happened.


EDIT:
Oh, and of interest: leaked news -- which LLLR confirmed in an FilmScoreMonthly.com post -- is that a 4CD set of scores from "The X-Files" is due later this year. They say September or August. I say probably December since things get pushed back constantly in the production world.
