Yeah... That's what we needed an emo Robin. I'm guessing it would have been Jason Todd.

As long as he dies by the end of the movie.

Honestly, that would have made for a good arc in a series of movies, introducing a Robin in one movie and in the next one (or at the end of a trilogy) having him die.
