They start pulling away the burning shrubs.

The unnamed blueshirt is breakfast for the hungry creature while Chakotay and Tuvok battle it.

Outside the cave...

They start to evacuate. They intercept Kim and Janeway

Chakotay, Tuvok and Kim press hard into the cave ceiling, finally the rocks fall, blocking the creature.
