I feel I should extent my sympathies for you having to watch that. The only decent scenes in it have G'Kar.

Don't you just love Network interference in shows. Not saying they can never have a positive impact but I suspect they tend to have more negative impacts than positive ones.

Oh for sure.... And it's happened tons of times....

Even Star Trek was not immune to that and Network suits wanting things like temporal cold wars and stuff. heh heh.

I still like Enterprise.

The network interference in Crusade was epic, though. I think the suspicion was that TNT was actively trying to kill the show, having decided after B5 that their viewer base didn't like sci fi. Or at least the execs didn't.

Had you seen Crusade in fist run, you would have also been subjected to network promos featuring such things as Commander Lochly wearing a Cheesehead hat during superbowl season.

The did a study on the B5 viewership and found that the TNT audience left when B5 came on and the B5 audience left when B5 was over so there was no increase in viewership. Hence, all the stupid demands in order to be able to get out of the contract.

Have to say I'm not happy with what they did with Lennier though it was nice to see Susan back at the end.

That was the original Season 4 ending, which is why Claudia Christian's in it. It got moved to the end of season 5 when they wound up getting a fifth season.

I think it's a little more than that. "Sleeping in Light" wasn't the original season 4 ending, it was always meant to be the show's ending, whenever it was. It was filmed as a part of Season 4 because, at that time, it was assumed Season 4 would be the final season. When it wasn't it was moved to air after the Season 5 episodes, which were filmed after that.

Well given the fact Tracy Scoggins was not in every ep I don't think time off was the issue.

Maybe do another post-B5 series Crusade/Legend of the Rangers or that cancelled idea with Galen. I know JMS wanted to do a Telepath War Movie.
