Babylon 5

Also, a user named Byron Crump on DailyMotion.com has every single B5 episode and movie, and Crusade also. Daily Motion is a lot like Vimeo and Youtube even has a iPhone app as well.
He appears to have uploaded only the French-dubbed versions unless there's an audio stream option I've overlooked.

Of course, watching through a legit source like Go90 will actually help show that there's a market for B5 streaming and alwo contribute toward the miniscule residuals that the cast and crew might receive.

That's strange. I tested 5 random episodes from across the 5 seasons and they all had the normal English dub. I didn't have to mess with the options at all.

Agreed. If there is any slim chance of a rekindled interest of some kind for B5, fans need to support this legit streaming.

They were all in English when i played them
Maybe it was a weird site glitch that got confused about my location or a strange hallucination on my part (except my French is quite rusty). It's playing in English now. I doubt the uploads are WB-approved as @Jan states.

My wife and I are in the middle of the fourth season now, and as much as I love it, it's really obvious during this rewatch how much they had to compress things when they thought they wouldn't get a fifth season. They spent the better part of a couple of season building up to the Shadow War, and then it was over in just a few episodes. Maybe what was cut out was a lot of filler, but I feel that some genuine content got lost along the way. It just feels like the build-up was like reading a novel, and then you just get a summary for the war itself.

Also, is it just me, or do the Shadow "Battlecrabs" really stand up after all this time? They still look and feel like something out of your worst nightmare.

Having just done my own rewatch, I'd say both the Shadow and Vorlon ships hold up, but the Shadows definitely engender that "oh hell..." feeling.

Of course, we never saw a Vorlon fleet slice-and-dice the Narns. :/

It's not compressed that much. 4x18 ("Intersections in Real Time") would have been the season finale, supposedly. So it's only 4 episodes that were "lost".

That would have been a hell of a downer for a season finale. I think I'm actually glad they didn't go that way.

That's how Game Of Thrones has felt to me, and they don't have the excuse of not knowing if they were going to be renewed each season or not.

Well, every prior season finale ended on a downer, no? Hell, even 'Sleeping in Light' was bitter-sweet, to put it mildly.

None of them revolved around basically two characters talking in a room, though. Or torture.

Though I'm also aware of the episode being critiqued for the fact that it ultimately goes pretty easy on the torture aspects. The counterargument being that this was just the beginning of what presumably would have become a much more involved process.

My point being, I suppose, that while B5 had its share of concept episodes, and generally handled them pretty well for my money, I'm not sure that doing one of those as a season finale would have been advisable.

True but we paid for it with S5 as some arcs had to be extended more than orignally planned.

I think he was joking about the "Maternis/Paternis" thing. :D

I know he was...... But I have taken it out in public instead of using a foam cup which I don't like and people look and ask what the design is about..

Sometimes someone knows what it is.. It's funny.
