I would direct you to the post I was replying to for what I took exception to. It was a screed against a candidate and not about a comparison to the show.
I knew that you were replying to Marsden, whose political imagery borrowed heavily from B5. So same answer.
You're trying to tell us how to creatively relate B5 to today's candidates and state an opinion about them. No. And no, I don't like Trump, so it's not that I sympathize or agree with Marsden's political opinion whatsoever. I'd just like the freedom and right to replace "Clinton" with "Trump" in that post.

I actually never noticed before till this 2nd rewatch that the inquisitor was Jack The Ripper. Blimey the Vorlons are a bit twisted lol..
I wonder what made them recruit him?
I don't know for a fact there's a Redjac vs The Inquisitor fan fiction out there, I just know it's true.
I wonder what the Vorlons did with Jack when they went beyond the Rim. I can only assume that they euthanised him. He was probably over 400 years old after all.
^Assuming they hadn't already let him die as he'd hoped, they probably just left him in cryo on the Vorlon homeworld. Going from the novels and the short stories, they left a lot of things just lying around when they left. Like for example a whole planet of non-sentient super telepaths bred from the DNA samples of every race they meddled with. Indeed, before taking off for the rim it seems like all they did was set their planets' defences on a 1 million year timer.
The thread seems to be actually returning to discuss B5, but I will still put this in as a reminder to keep it there.
Certainly there is a political element to B5's richness in stories, but when "real world" political commentary creeps in it too often gets out of control. Keep the focus on B5 and please do not try to slip the current political conflagrations into the discussion

No, it's explicitly 1 Million as per the ending of 'The Deconstruction of Falling Stars'.
Deconstruction of Falling Stars is such an interesting episode because of how it reaches into the future of the setting. It's strange that it might not have even been made if things went more to plan, then network not collapsing. Plus, right after you see it there's a feeling of, "what did I just watch" but it really frames things so well in the over reaching historical context of the show. A perfect compliment to the very end of Sleeping In Light revealing the whole show was an

Actually the end of season 4 would have made a very good series finale in of itself had they not been renewed..
