There are a number of reasons why I picked his character as my username here and elsewhere. Of course I can't go into them at all, just yet.
When I finish the series, can you tell me. I'd love to know.

Acts of Sacrifice
Well, it's definitly not "All Alone in the Night." The plot regarding the Centauri/Narn conflict was really good, and it was possibly necessary to know what kind of station Babylon 5 is and the purpose. However, was G'Kar laughing or Crying when he heard the negociation. It seemed like it was both.
As for the B-Plot, um, yeah. It was interesting, but the Ivanova "sex" scene was a little cringeworthy. I think that was Christian's move along home moment, kinda like watching Visitor, Brooks, and Ferrell actually do Allamaraine with a straight face. The thing about it though was I was actually laughing a lot during that scene. Still cringeworthy though. As for evolution and inferior/superior, I thought Evolution had more to do with adapting to the environment, and that was what brought on natural selection. There is no inferior/superior when talking about evolution. That's just an opinion thing.

So the plot from Chrysalis and the first two episodes of the season dealing with the assassination of Santiago continues and how Clark was involved. Not the best episode of the season but I liked it. Loved Sheridan and Cranston (Was that the same guy who played Cal Hudson on DS9) at the end with Kosh's ship. That was good stuff and Ivanova's comment was great. Reminded me of Riker to Picard in a third season episode. Also liked the further exploration of Sheridan and Kosh's relationship. I actually started thinking, we haven't really had a Vorlon/Kosh episode in this series. Sure there was The Gathering, and he was instramental in Deathwalker, but he's been more on the sidelines I've noticed. I want more Kosh, and I want to see what is underneth that suit of his.
Just as an aside, could Jerry Doyle pull off a young Indiana Jones? I know he's a political talk show host now, but back then with this episode and the fadora, I was thinking he would have been great as a young indy.

I wouldn't get too pushy with Kosh. Vorlons don't really like being told what to do.

There were some parts of this episode I really liked. The jab at Star Trek at the beginning was one of them, "This isn't some Deep Space Franchise. This Station is about something."
Ah, love the rivalry. Also really liked the scenes with Kosh and Sheridan, especially Kosh wanting John to see the beauty in the darkness. I'm interested to see where this all goes even though it's still in the early stages. Also loved the gift shop and the Ba-bear-lon 5 and Sheridan's reaction.
Unfortunately, the big plot with honor and Sheridan being accused of murder didn't do much for me. By the episode end I got so tired of hearing about honor I thought I was watching a bad Klingon episode. Still, the other parts of the episode made up for it.

The reason for that disparity is that unique style of the episode - the whole episode is filmed as if it was an ISN news documentary in the style of "60 minutes".

What's people's reaction on the previous three. Also, reading the synopsis for the next one, I'm reminded of BSG's Final Cut. In that sense I'm not surprised you said that.
Well looking at the P5 ratings on the lurkers guide, the overall verdict for the previous three episodes appears to be roughly equal to "good but not great", which matches my recollection. Unfortunately the original P5 rating pages with complete stats (such as standard deviation, median) seem to have been lost.

And looking at that, I guess ANFAW wasn't as controversial as I remember. Its standard deviation is not unusually high. But whenever we discuss episodes in "B5 rewatch or retrospective" threads such as this, there seems to be a lot of people that dislike it. Perhaps that's where I got it from.
