Baby-Damar

This was actually supposed to become a real picture, but it didn´t work out....so I just played around with it and now it is ...well... not beautiful, but a "at one dark hour during the night in early 2375 Damar felt very depressed picture" supposed to show the mood, as not really much else is visble anyway... ;)

Do you have a bigger version?

The fallen Cardassian symbol struck me most. It feels like it's fallen with a lot of noise. Very depressing.

Yes, but then have to send it to you via mail, cause the page where I upload the pictures only load them up the size you see, when you click on the smallish pic.

One moment.

...

So, should be there now.

Tarik comes look-like (and in some ways personality-like) after his father. He is that typical hard and arrogant cardassian soldier, like we see Damar in the 6th season, but a bit more mature, better with words, lesser blunt and more successful dominating.

I see a woman, a young woman and to me she seems to be of African descent. And angry!

Seems like Cardassian features dominate on her face, just like in case of Lieutenant Jeto.

Although I imagine this child would be very thankful to have her mother's skin color and hair type. The color of the "spoon," though, makes me think that this is a teenage girl.

Not surprised at how dominant the Cardassian ridges are...it makes sense since humans have no genetic coding for any types of ridges.

True. Children of a particular couple from my fanfics would have very Cardassian features to a point one of them wouldn't be even easily recognised as not a full Cardassian.

That's a decision I'm still trying to make for a certain other story I'm playing with. A lot will hinge on what the doctors have to do to make sure that their children will be healthy.

Guess if she is thankful for her skin-colour and hair would depend on were she is livng. If she lives on the streets of Lakat... she may would be happier to have grey skin and straight hair. She is supposed to be one of the children Nisha Damar helps taking care off....though that would mean the cardassian soldier would have taken one of the human women of the colonies with him to Cardassia. Hmm....

Yeah, that's what I thought: how would such a child end up on Cardassia? I don't think a soldier would take his comfort woman back home with him, not after Gul Dukat/Ziyal incident. Unless they were truly in love, but still... it would be risky.

I don't see how you can be "truly in love" in that situation. The rapist may delude himself into thinking that, but it will never be true without completely destroying the other person. :(

That's right. By "truly in love" I didn't mean a soldier who took a slave and brought her with him to keep abusing her. More like a soldier who really fell in love with a human while he was posted somewhere. But it's doubtful he would bring her to Cardassia to live with her, it would be better to stay on some colony out of the way as people would change their lives into hell.

Falling in love during the war - unlikely (she seems to grown for the Dominion War, so it would have to be Border Wars or the former colonies conflict - I think she's too big for the Maquis times too)
Bringing a private comfort woman back home - unlikely
Bringing only a child - unlikely; I am not even sure he would know he has a child

It would be much easier to send Nisha to a colony and work there - if this is her work and not an accident that she met this child and took care of her

Hmm...but we know that Dukat brough Kiras mother back to Cardassia.
And this girl would have been on Cardassia and an outcast long before Dukat brings Ziyal to Cardassia, Ziyal would not be even born then.
So maybe some soldier did take a human comfort woman with him home and when she got a child he would have tried to kill her, but somehow she survived and now lived on the streets.
Nisha does not work in that field... no idea yet what kind of occupation she has, she does sort of voluntary work.

When were the Border Wars with the Federation? Maybe that time would fit.
